Among Us is not just a game about flying into space. It’s also a game about revealing a space killer. Moreover, this killer is aboard the same ship you’re on right now and might be absolutely any person around you! Will you be able to tell a traitor in disguise from honest astronauts? Your life and the lives of all crew members depend on that!
So, get ready for the most fascinating space journey of your life! You will find yourself inside a spaceship that is making its way to a distant planet. Apparently, this planet is not empty, and the local dwellers don’t want to be found. So they sent an impostor pretending to be one of the astronauts with a grim task of murdering everyone before they reach their home planet. There is no way to tell who the killer is – all crew members look exactly the same. Only a shrewd eye can notice small details and suspicious things about their behavior.
But it’s not enough to figure out who the traitor is on your own – you also have to communicate your guesses successfully to other players! After all, only a general vote can decide who should be thrown out of the ship. If this decision is right, astronauts will win and continue their flight unhindered. If not… well, that means minus one innocent crew member and plus one day for the killer to finish their ominous job. Good luck!
Each Among Us session begins when there are enough players gathered in the lobby. Each of the characters is controlled by a live person, so you won’t be able to predict the actions of other participants just as easily as if they were the AI. One (or more, depending on the number of people) of the players gets the role of the impostor. Their task is to kill as many crew members as possible without being found out. They can also reach their goal by sabotaging the vital systems of the ship in case the rest of the crew won’t be able to remove the damage in time.
Peaceful astronauts, for their part, have to watch each other closely and get their suspicious across to the other players. They also have a list of tasks they have to complete onboard – after all, the ship has to keep flying, and it requires the involvement of all the crew members. Every time another dead body is found, a vote is called, and the person who gets more voices against them than the others gets executed. Hopefully, you’ll make the right decisions playing Among Us online!
